On Friday, May 18th, The Foundation of Hope and Innovation will have a Casino Night Fundraiser to raise money for cancer research.
Being held in the lobby of the Downey Regional Medical Center at 11480 Brookshire Avenue, Downey, California, attendees of this “Casino Night” fundraiser can expect a fun-filled night of casino games, such as black jack, roulette, and craps. At the end of the evening, gaming chips will be converted into raffle tickets for a chance at fantastic prizes such as an iPad, iPods, and even a TV.
Guests will also see a display of photographs submitted by cancer patients of The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation for the “My Happy Moment” photography competition.
“Not only are we hoping to raise a generous amount of money towards research for a cure for cancer, we also want to promote awareness and early detection, so we may better take care of ourselves to prevent cancer from even happening,” says Dr. Richy Agajanian, Board Member of The Foundation of Hope and Innovation.
The event will run from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on May 18th. With a $10 entry fee, guests will receive $20 worth of chips to game with and enjoy a beautiful spread of food and beverages. RSVP ahead of time on The Oncology Institute’s Facebook Page and guests can get $5 off of that entry fee. All proceeds will go directly to The Foundation of Hope and Innovation and the Prevent Cancer Foundation.
